Ingredients

  • 1 cup soya chunks

  • Water (to boil)

  • Salt (to taste)

For Batter

  • 2 tbsp cornflour

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida)

  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Water (to make a thick batter)

Method

  1. Boil soya chunks in salted water for 5–6 minutes.
  2. Drain, rinse with cold water, and squeeze out excess water
  3. Mix all batter ingredients. Add soya chunks and coat well
  4. Shallow fry or air-fry until golden brown. Keep aside.

Prepare Manchurian sauce

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Sauté garlic, ginger, and chili until fragrant.
