From First Consultation to Real Results

At Makes You Eat by Dt. Foram Modi, we follow a proven, structured, and clinically designed onboarding process for our every client. Even if client visit us at our Borivali based clinic or wants an online diet plan, we have a defined process. 

This process is a result of Dietitian Foram Modi’s 12+ years of rich practical experience in crafting disease reversal diet plans for clients in and outside Mumbai, India. 

In this client journey, we have ensured that nothing important is missed, nothing is rushed, and nothing is based on guesswork. 

And hence, from your first enquiry to your Day 1 of the diet plan, each step is carefully planned and executed considering your convenience, time of availability. The entire process is divided in 6 steps as we mention in details below –

Our 6 Step Client Onboarding Process

Step 1 - Enquiry & Basic Health Screening

Every client journey at Makes You Eat by Dt. Foram Modi will begin with a enquiry and basic health analysis of a client. 

In this stage, team will understand who you are, where are you coming from, and what are the problems you are struggling with. So this will be a short discussion over a phone call or video call. 

Please note, it’s not diet consultation call. Our team will collect your details such as your age, location, weight, medical conditions. 

The aim of this step is to ensure that we will make some preparation for your first consultation call with our head dietitian – Dt. Foram Mod. 

In this step, we will also discuss whether you need online diet consultation or in clinic diet consultation as per your convenience.

So, to summarize, in this step we will –

  • Understand your main health concern and goals.

  • Collect basic medical, lifestyle, and background details.

  • Check if your case needs special attention or reports.

  • Prepare your profile for a more focused and productive diet consultation call.

Step 2 - Face to Face Consultation with Our Head Dietitian

Once our team gets some basic idea about you, the next step is to formally book your consultation with our Head Dietitian at Makes You Eat, Dt. Foram Modi. 

This consultation call you can book in the form of an online consultation mode or if you are able to walk in to our diet clinic in Borivali, Mumbai, then you can opt for in clinic dietitian consultation. 

In this step, you will have a direct one to one dialogue with our dietitian at Makes You Eat, Mumbai. Before you come for the consultation, you will be given a detailed pre consultation health form. It will be a Google Drive link which we will share with you. 

This Google form or this information will help us go deeper into your history. We will try to know your food habits, stress levels, lifestyle pattern in detail and also the your expectations from the program. 

You can schedule the consultation call as per your convenient time. If at all you are not able to join at scheduled time, then rescheduling also can be done, but it requires a prior appointment.

So, to summarize, in this step we will –

  • Help you choose between online or in-clinic consultation.

  • Schedule your dedicated consultation slot.

  • Get your detailed health history through a structured form.

Step 3 - Blood Reports Review & Case Preparation

Now, in this step, we will carefully review your blood reports, medical tests, doctor prescriptions, and your past health records if available. 

This step will help us to understand what is happening inside your body. Many health issues such as PCOD, thyroid, gut health issues, inflammation, fatigue, or unexplained weight gain have some symptoms visible in your pathology lab reports. 

We will look for various things which includes, for example, vitamin deficiencies, insulin resistance, cholesterol numbers, and also levels of hormones. By studying these lab reports, we will get a full clarity about what things in your body needs the attention and what needs correction. 

This step is very important to prepare a customized and result-oriented clinical nutrition plan which will be the basis of your monthly diet execution. This plan will be solution-oriented, focused, and has clinical findings as its basis.

So, to summarize, in this step we will –

  • Review your blood tests, scans, prescriptions, and past medical records.

  • Identify nutritional deficiencies, hormonal patterns, and risk markers.

  • Understand the clinical root causes behind your symptoms.

Step 4 - Explaining Your Health Clearly

Now, until now, we have got the full idea about what is happening in your body, your medical health, and what are your expectations. We will now explain you your health condition in a simple language. 

We will explain you why your current problems have occurred and what exactly we need to fix. And the basis of all these things is the lab reports that you have shared and the lifestyle pattern that you have explained to us. 

We connect all the dots together and map out the right strategy for your body. We will also provide you honest guidance about how long it will take for your body to improve and how long it will take to see the results. 

Based on this discussion, we will recommend you the most suitable diet program either from one month, three months of diet plan. 

We will also explain what will be included in the diet program. The aim of this step is to provide you clarity, confidence, and clear roadmap before you start.

So, to summarize, in this step we will –

  • Explain your health condition and report findings in simple terms.

  • Discuss root causes, lifestyle triggers, and problem areas.

  • Get approval for personalized diet plan.

Step 5 - Creating Customized Diet Plan

Based on everything what we have understood about your body, your medical lab reports, your lifestyle, food preferences, and work schedule, we will create a custom clinical nutrition plan designed specifically for you. 

This personalized diet plan will not only focus on weight or the external symptoms, but it will work on treating the root cause. It will work on healing the deficiencies in your body, correcting the imbalances, and improving the health from within the body. 

After this customized clinically research-based diet plan is prepared by our head dietitian Dt. Foram Modi, we conduct a dedicated call with you to explain the things in detail. We will explain what to eat, how to eat, when to eat. 

If during the discussion you found something impractical or difficult, then we refine and adjust the diet plan before we finalize it. You will also receive the recipes and guidance so that it will be easy for you to follow the plan in real life.

So, to summarize, in this step we will –

  • Create a fully customized diet plan based on your medical and lifestyle data.

  • Focus on healing root causes, not just symptom control.

  • Explain the complete plan to you on call in simple language.

  • Make practical adjustments based on your routine and comfort.

Step 6 - Plan Activation & Day 1 Start

This is the point where your action phase officially begins. After you are satisfied with explanation of the created diet plan, we will provide you some time to prepare and stock up the required groceries and ingredients that you will need. 

From the next day, your plan will officially begin and that will be called as day one of your diet plan. From this day onward, your diet journey will be our responsibility. Our team will stick with you. 

We will not leave you once we give you the plan, but we will do a responsible follow-up. We will give you support on daily basis. Yes, we will be in touch with you on daily basis and will not leave you alone and will make sure that you follow this diet plan diligently and with commitment. 

Monitoring, guidance and progress tracking will become a part of your daily life and we will move slowly towards visible, measurable and sustainable results.
